Personal 'Do's' and 'Don't's' of Makeup

Hi guys!
Starting off this week's posts, I thought of a really fun idea I hope some people might find interesting and hopefully agree with me about! I've listed below a few personal 'do's' and 'don't's' of beauty (makeup, hair styling etc.). Hope you enjoy! :)
1. DO: Make your eyebrows look natural if you fill them in. I've said this in previous posts but a personal bug of mine is when a girl layers on the unnatural looking eyebrow shapes and designs until their brows just look crazy. I know how hard it can be to find the right shade and shape to match your natural eyebrow as I too have been a victim of the unnatural looking brows at one point in my life, but please find the time to find your right shade! A girl looks so much prettier with gorgeous, natural eyebrows in my opinion!
2. DON'T: Forget to blend your foundation into your hairline and neck. This is especially important if you are using a darker shade of foundation to your skin tone! A tanned face against a white neck lets everyone know that you have applied quite a bit of makeup that day!
3. DO: Let your skin have a breather some days. I am obviously a huge fan of makeup and looking the best you are able to, but I also think it's so important for a person to feel comfortable in their own skin. Don't let yourself get dependent on wearing makeup everyday - know that you are beautiful without it! :)
4. DON'T: use heat on your hair everyday - or try not to! This can actually really damage your hair and stop it from being healthy and growing long and thick! Instead of curling your hair each morning, why not try rolling it the night before? This eliminates the need for heat while still giving your hair a vibrant bounce.
5. DO: Wear and do what makes you comfortable. After everything I've said, the only thing that matters is whether you're comfortable or not. These are all just very personal views of mine and not everybody will think the same as I do. Learn to have the confidence in yourself to know what you like on yourself and what you don't. Learn to know that it is okay if all your friends are wearing dark lipstick but you want to wear pink. At the end of the day, the confidence in your own skin is what will set you apart from everybody else as a beautiful person.
So finally, do be yourself and learn to love who that person is!
I hope you all enjoyed this post. As it is a little different, I would appreciate your comments below on your own personal do's and don't's for beauty!
:) xxx
