11 random facts about me
2. ... I have never been to Birmingham before in my life. This Saturday will be the first time I visit, just four weeks before I move there for four years! Psychology was also my least favourite subject I took for A-Levels. (Starting to freak out a little now I've realised all of this!)
3. I am seriously addicted to chocolate. I tried to hide it when I first starting working at my current company but on my birthday, they suprised me with a 'love chocolate' card. I'm obviously not good at hiding the pure addiction.
4. I had a previous blog that I gave up with because it was called 'The London Storyteller' but all about beauty. The name of the blog didn't match the content after a while and I didn't have many followers. I deleted the blog but after a few months, I missed writing so I created this one :)
5. Writing is a hobby of mine. I am currently writing a fiction novel!
6. I once met Brian May at a wedding and told him his hair was curly (like he didn't already know!)
7. I am quite tall for a girl. I am 5ft 8inches and I wish I was shorter so much :(
8. I would love to live in America for a few years of my life.
9. I have been nicknamed 'the vampire' before because of my very pale sick, red lips and tendency to wear dark eye makeup.
10. My interest in beauty products arose when I wore my friend's older sister's mascara to a party when I was twelve. I liked how my eyes looked bigger than they ever had before.
11. My girl crush is hands-down Emma Stone. I squealed once when the Revlon advert came on in the cinema and she appeared, 15 feet wide, in front of me.

1. What are you most
passionate about?
Probably about removing
the stigmatism around mental health, particularly anxiety and depression.
2. What inspired you to
start blogging? Your top tip for newbie bloggers?
I love to experiment with
makeup and I am always looking for new products to trial. My friends are all
interested in makeup but not to the extent as I am. I wanted to be part of a
community who is. My top tip is to keep pushing to find new people, post new
posts, tweet more bloggers. You will find a community you never knew existed.
3. Who is your style icon?
Do fictional characters
count? If so, Effy from Skins, later series. If not, Shailene Woodley, Fearne
Cotton, every ASOS model ever etc.
4. Do you have a motto
that you live by or favourite quote?
My favourite quote is
something I discovered three years ago. 'I shut my eyes in order to see'. The
first time I read that I could do nothing but stare at it. I just felt like
something inside of me had moved. It was so true. Now, whenever I am faced with
a decision, I just close my eyes, think and breathe for a second. You can see
the situation much clearer after a quick time out.
5. What’s your favourite
make up product/brand?
Wow. What a question to
ask a beauty blogger! Well, as stated in my July haul post, I love Benefit.
Their products always seem so pure and clean to me. Other than that, MAC is my
favourite make up brand for lipsticks, Urban Decay is my favourite brand for
eyeshadows and Bobbi Brown is my top choice for concealing and highlighting
products!
6. Your favourite Book/Movie/TV
show?
I am a huge bookworm. If
I'm not searching for new beauty products to try, I'm looking for new books to
read. My absolute favourite cannot be selected. Please can I choose three
instead? In no particular order:
1. The Fault in our Stars
by John Green - I was a nerdfighter long before this book shot to
(well-deserved) fame. I am so happy for John and his family.
2. Grow Up by Ben Brooks -
hilarious at every page.
3. It's Kind of a Funny
Story by Ned Vizzini - reading this again for the fourth time!
My favourite movie is the
Art of Getting By and my favourite TV show is Parks and Rec :)

platform?
Twitter or Instagram -

8. What makes you smile?
I have a really silly
humour. People saying or doing silly things will always get me laughing!
9. Favourite travel
destination
My favourite holiday was
definitely when I went to America in 2012. The heat was almost unbearable but I
am planning on going again as soon as I can!

Pretty sure I have the
most common favourite Youtuber for a beauty blogger - Zoella. She has made a
